Two substantial additions were made to this large Italianate-style home. At the west end of the property, the art gallery, veranda and master suite were added to accomodate the client's growing family and art collection.

 

At the opposite end of the property is a racquetball/basketball court with a game room above. The technical challenges of combining the two different types of courts were met through the use of "bomb-bay" doors that conceal the basketball backboard flush with the ceiling for racquetball play or dropped down for basketball play.
